Apparently, Spring starts March 19th and ends June 20th. Which is bizarre to me because by then I’ve typically been sitting through a few 100F degree days. But whatever. Here are some of the upcoming books I’m looking foward to.
Smoke Bitten by Patricia Briggs, book 12 of Mercy Thompson
And by TBR I mean “It came out today and I’m currently reading it but I took time out of my busy reading schedule to write this post.” Like sure, Spring starts in 2 days, but it counts.
It’s so good so far! I reviewed all the other books in the series as well, check out the Mercy Thompson series page.
The Last Emperox by John Scalzi, book 3 of The Interdependency
I’m very much looking forward to the conclusion of this trilogy. I’ve been keeping my eye out for an advanced copy, but I haven’t seen anything. Sad. I reviewed books one and two at The Interdependency series page.
Repo Virtual by Corey J. White
I have an advanced reader copy of this, I just haven’t gotten around to reading it yet. It is coming up soon, though! I’m looking forward to getting to this cyberpunk book, especially after finishing my post on cyberpunk earlier today.
Shadowed by Despair by Candace Robinson, book 3 of Laith
I cannot tell you how curious I am about how this book is even going to be possible, after reading the second book in the series. I don’t have a series page, but I did review book one, Clouded by Envy, and book two Veiled By Desire.
Automatic Reload by Ferrett Steinmetz
A Romantic Cyberpunk with characters that have a panic disorder and PTSD? Um. Yes? Thank you. I have an advanced copy, I just need to find the time to actually read it already. I’ve also been made aware that I should read more of Steinmetz, too.
A Sleight of Shadows by Kat Howard
I don’t have a cover since I haven’t been able to find a page on it, but the author assured us on Twitter that it will be released in June, so it will. Won’t it??? It is the sequel to An Unkindness of Magicians, which was one of my surprise great reads of last year.
Alpha Night by Nalini Singh, book 4 of Psy/Changeling Trinity
I pretty much just read everything paranormal romance Nalini Singh will put out. It isn’t even a question I’ll read this.
This isn’t 10, but that’s okay. I just haven’t found what else I’m going to read this Spring yet. Also I had more, but it turns out the dates on a few changed into Summer. Other than this, I’m not exactly certain what I’m going to be reading this Spring. I haven’t been following The Plan recently.
