March is a huge new release month for me, every year. I didn’t actually read much in March 2015, but most of what I did read was new releases. I don’t have a lot of time to write this right now so it is a bit light.
Alpha and Omega by Patricia Briggs
I love the Alpha and Omega series, a spinoff to the Mercy Thompson series. I love the characters, Charles and Anna, and their relationship. And, I really, really love Bran. Alpha and Omega just gives me easier AND more access to Bran. 2015’s release was Dead Heat, It wasn’t my favourite in the series, but it was good enough.
InCryptid by Seanan McGuire
I’ve talked about InCryptid a lot, I think, I just haven’t gotten around to rereading the series so I can review it. I have my ups and downs with InCryptid, and 2015’s release, Pocket Apocalypse, was a big down for me. I never really liked Alexander and the werewolf thing just didn’t do it for me.
Weird Girls by Cecy Robson
I really, really need to reread this series so I can review them for you guys. I really loved this series through the five books I read. It was fun, and it was good, and oh my god I cried. This series has one of the worst things I’ve ever seen happen to a main character before. I was in absolute shock. 2015 gave me the fifth book, A Curse Unbroken, which gives me the final book following the original main character.
March was just kind of aimless.
I read Vision in Silver, the third book of The Others by Anne Bishop, when it came out. And then I read it again 3 days later.
There was a new release in the Rylee Adamson series, which honestly I have no idea what happened in that book because they all blended together.
I reread, for some reason, Broken Soul by Faith Hunter and Fury of the Demon by Kara Gillian (okay I know why I reread this one. BECAUSE IT DESTROYS ME.)
Small month, small numbers 😟.
13 novels, 1 novella, 0 audiobooks. Only 4 rereads.
1.5 million words in 5k pages.
I only read for 65 hours total!!!
At least the average rating was high at 4.21 stars?
